The Ovarian Cancer Screening Unit, based at St. Bartholomew's Hospital, London, was established 10 years ago to undertake research into techniques to detect ovarian cancer at an early and treatable stage. The unit has set up a clinic to offer specific personal advice to women concerned about their risk of developing ovarian cancer.
