Treatment

There are a number of ways of treating ovarian cancer, and new approaches are emerging all the time. The way you are treated will depend on your individual circumstances, but could include surgery, chemotherapy and radiotherapy. In this section, you can read factsheets and newsletter articles about well-established and newer forms of treatment, including radiotherapy, chemotherapy and some of the most common drugs you're likely to come across. The factsheets will tell you what's involved in the treatment, and what the side-effects can be. Click on the headings below to find out more.
